نظام إدارة المكتبات ومراكز المعلومات LibSys.NET

يُعتبر النظام والذي تم تطويره بالكامل بقدرات عربية تمتلك خبرات متقدمة في مجال إدارة المكتبات ومصادر المعلومات والنشر الإلكتروني، الوحيد على المستوى العربي المُنافس للأنظمة العالمية المُترجمة من حيث توافقه مع المواصفات العالمية منها صيغة مارك العالمية للفهرسة (MARC 21)

والبروتوكول العالمي للاتصال والبحث Z39.50

مع مراعاة احتياجات المستخدم في المنطقة العربية، وكذلك فإنه منافس من حيث الجودة والسعر وسهولة الإستخدام.

تم تركيب النظام في أكثر من 110 مؤسسة معلوماتية، منها مكتبة كلية الملك فهد الأمنية-الرياض، مكتبة المعهد العربي لإنماء المدن-الرياض، مكتبة ديوان المراقبة العامة-الرياض، مكتبات جامعة صنعاء-اليمن، مكتبة جامعة بيت لحم، الخليل، بوليتكنيك فلسطين ومكتبات البلديات العامة في فلسطين(رام الله، الخليل، البيرة، سلفيت، طولكرم، قلقيلية،..وغيرها). وقد تم إعتماده من قبل هيئات متخصصة مثل جمعية المكتبات الأردنية وجمعية المكتبات الفلسطينية. كما تم تقييمه من قبل متخصصين في علم المكتبات والمعلومات في الجامعات والمؤسسات السعودية.

المواصفات والخدمات

v نظام آلي متكامل (ثنائي اللغة) متخصص لإدارة المكتبات ومصادر المعلومات ليوافي احتياجات المكتبات العربية بمواصفات عالمية. ويشمل مجال عمل النظام كذلك تقنيات المكتبة الرقمية ( الكتاب الإلكتروني، الدوريات، الأرشيف الصحفي، المحتويات،..الخ ) .

v يُمثل النظام حزمة من الأنظمة المتكاملة لاستخدامها في المكتبات ومصادر المعلومات ومراكز التوثيق بحيث يوفر تطبيقات آلية متنوعة من التزويد والفهرسة والتصنيف وضبط الإستناد والإعارة والحجز والطلبات من خلال الإنترنت والخدمات المرجعية وضبط الدوريات والتكشيف بما فيها تقنيات المكتبة الرقمية وإدارة المحتويات من خلال شبكة الإنترنت/الإنترانت.

v بالإضافة الى أوعية المكتبات التقليدية فإن النظام يستوعب كافة مقتنيات المكتبة الأخرى من كتب ودوريات وبحوث ودراسات ووثائق ومخطوطات وتسجيلات صوتية ومرئية على نفس قاعدة البيانات المكتبة، بحيث يُمكن الإنتقال الى مفهوم مراكز مصادر المعلومات بما فيها المكتبة بكافة انواعها واشكالها ضمن قاعدة بيانات مركزية، على أن يتم فهرستها وتصنيفها وتكشيفها وإستقبال الملفات الإلكترونية لها من خلال عمليات المسح الضوئي عن طريق إعتماد آليات وسياسات عمل موحدة، مما يُمكن الباحثين والدراسين من البحث والإستعلام عنها ضمن موقع إلكتروني تفاعلى واحد من خلال شبكة الإنترنت أو الإنترانت والحصول عليها بالصيغة الإلكترونية والنص الكامل.

v النظام يدعم عمل المكتبات ومراكز المعلومات ذات الفروع المتعددة ضمن قاعدة بيانات مركزية مهما كان البُعد الجغرافي لها، ومنها المكتبات الجامعية، المكتبات المتخصصة، مراكز المعلومات والتوثيق، مراكز الدراسات والبحوث، مراكز المخطوطات، المجلات الإلكترونية، المؤسسات القانونية والتشريعية، المؤسسات الثقافية والإحصائية، المؤسسات الصحفية ودور النشر وغيرها.

v موافقته مع المواصفات العالمية منها تركيبة مارك وكذك بروتوكول Z39.5 وتقنيات Path profile, Bib-1 وتقنيات الربط الشبكي TCP/IP وتقنيات المكتبة الإفتراضية والرقمية.

v صدرت النسخة الأولى من النظام عام 1992، وفي سنة 2003 تم إصدار النسخة الثالثة وهي LibSys.NET كمنافس رئيسي للأنظمة العالمية المترجمة التي انتشرت في السنوات العشر الماضية، حيث أنه يستوعب عدد غير محدد من التسجيلات الببليوغرافية.

v توفر تقنيات المكتبة الرقمية من خلال إستقبال ملفات (PDF) والبحث بداخلها، بحيث يتم كذلك فهرسة وتحليل لمحتويات الأشرطة السمعية والبصرية وتحديد مؤشر مكان التسجيل بالوقت الزمني بحيث يُسهّل الوصول إليها بسهولة وسرعة، بالإضافة إلى فهرسة وتحليل محتويات النشرات والكتب والدوريات والمخطوطات إلكترونياُ بالكامل والوصول إليها من خلال موقع إلكتروني تفاعلي على شبكة الإنترنت أو الإنترانت

لمن يهمه الأمر

في الوقت الذي يتصارع فيه المكتبيون ويختلفون من أجل شىء واحد وهو خدمة المجتمع
لم ننظر في نفس الوقت إلى المجتمع الذي نخدمه

أرجو قراءة هذا التحقيق الذي أجرته جريدة الوقت منذ فترة وليحدد كل منا السبب والعلاج
لهذه المشكلة.
نعم هذا هو واقعنا والذي أكده هذا التحقيق والذي يعلمه الجميع
فما الحل؟

تذرعوا بضيق الوقت وضغط الدراسة والتنشئة الأسرية..
طلبة الجامعة لا يقرأون.. وهمهم الوحيد الدرجات ثم الوظيفة

تشكل القراءة والمطالعة بوابة الإنسان إلى المعرفة واكتساب العلوم، وما من تقدم علمي أو ثقافي أو أدبي وصل إليه الإنسان إلا وكانت المطالعة وقوده الحيوي، بحيث يصبح المجتمع الذي لا يقرأ مصابا بالأمية الثقافية.
وإذا كان هذا هو الواقع العام الذي لا يختلف عليه أحد، فإن حال الطالب الجامعي في وقتنا الراهن لا يوحي بالتفاؤل في هذا المجال، وإن تعددت الأسباب ما بين الأسلوب التعليمي عموما إلى ضيق الوقت وتزايد الهموم، فضلا عن الوسائل المرئية والمسموعة والتي طغت على حركة العصر الحديث.
من جهتها، قالت الطالبة في قسم الإسلاميات زهرة محمد جعفر إن ‘’وسائل مطالعاتها تتركز على التلفزيون والإنترنت’’، معتبرة أن ‘’توجه الطلبة للقراءة في المعدل المتوسط، بينما يجب أن يكون في مستوى أعلى’’.
ورأت جعفر أن ‘’الوالدين لم يربوا أبناءهم على القراءة، ويمكن أن يكون لتطوير المنهج الدراسي وحث الأساتذة الطلبة على القراءة دور في حل المشكلة’’.
الهواية سبيلك للقراءة
أوضح الطالب في تخصص علوم الحاسوب محمد عبدالله إبراهيم والذي يهوى قراءة الكتب الإسلامية والتاريخية، أن ‘’لدى طلبة جامعة البحرين، توجه ضعيف للقراءة والمطالعة، لأنهم لا يمتلكون حافزا في هذا الاتجاه، فالهم الوحيد لديهم تحصيل الدرجات فقط’’.
وفيما أفاد إبراهيم أن ‘’عدد الكتب التي تطبع لدينا، لا تساوي 1% مما يطبع في الغرب’’، نصح زملاءه ‘’أن تبدأ القراءة لديهم كهواية حتى يتمكنوا من الاستمرار فيها’’.
وفي سياق متصل، قال الطالب سيدمحمد الوداعي، إن ‘’الطلبة يرغبون في المختصر المفيد، وليس الأشياء النظرية المتواجدة في شكل حشو من دون تدعيمها بالصور التي قد تجذب القراء’’، مضيفاً أن ‘’صنع مجتمع طلابي قارئ، يكون من خلال التوعية وربط الأشياء النظرية بالعملية’’.
من شب على شيء شاب عليه
من جهته، قال الطالب في كلية تقنية المعلومات مرتضى جاسم غلوم ‘’لا أكتفي بقراءة الكتب الدراسية، لأن القراءة هوايتي خصوصاً الكتب الإسلامية والقصص الأميركية’’.
وأضاف أن ‘’توجه الطلبة للمطالعة ضعيف جداً، إذ أن أذواق الناس مختلفة، فإذا كانت القراءة هواية لشخص ما، فليست كذلك بالضرورة لشخص آخر’’، معتبرا أن ‘’من شب على شيء، شاب عليه’’.
ورأى غلوم أن ‘’للتنشئة الأسرية أثرها البالغ في تكوين شخصية الفرد منذ طفولته حتى نضوجه، فيما يتعلق بحب المطالعة’’، موضحاً أن ‘’المطالعة نابعة من تكوين الفرد الأساسي، ولذا فإن صنع مجتمع طلابي قارئ، صعب التحقق حالياً’’.
إلى ذلك، أفاد الطالب في تخصص السياحة عبدالعزيز محمد أن ‘’توجهاته في القراءة، سياحية حسب تخصصه’’، معتبرا أن ‘’بعض الطلبة قد يتوسع في القراءة، والبعض الآخر يكتفي بالموجود’’.
وأشار محمد إلى أن ‘’البعد عن القراءة يعود إلى أسباب عدة، منها إهمال بعض الطلبة أو اكتفائهم بما يقع تحت أيديهم من كتب ومجلات’’.
لا وقت للقراءة.. وألتزم بالكتب الدراسية
من جهتها، قالت الطالبة في كلية إدارة الأعمال هيفاء مجيد إنها ‘’لا تقرأ كتبا، بل تطلع بصورة غير دائمة على القصص والمجلات’’، موضحة أن ‘’لا وقت لديها للقراءة، لذلك ألتزم فقط بالكتب الدراسية’’.
وأرجعت مجيد ذلك إلى ‘’كثرة الضغوط الدراسية، كما أن كتب مكتبة الجامعة قديمة ونادراً ما تخدمني’’، وفق ما قالت.
إلى ذلك، اقترحت مجيد ‘’توزيع المكتبات الصغيرة على الممرات، متضمنة كتبا مسعرة نشتريها كما نشتري (القهوة) من ماكينة القهوة’’.
الطالبي: عدد الكتب المستعارة لا يزيد على رغم ارتفاع عدد الطلبة.
من جهته، رأى مدير مكتبات جامعة البحرين هادي الطالبي أن ‘’طلبة الجامعة لا يقبلون كثيرا على القراءة’’، موضحا أن ‘’عدد طلبة جامعة البحرين نحو 19 ألفا، ولو افترضنا أن لدى كل طالب 4 مقررات دراسية كحد أدنى، هذا يعني أنه يحتاج إلى دعمها بكتب المطالعة والمعرفة’’.
وتابع ‘’على هذا الأساس ينبغي أن تكون الكتب المستعارة من الجامعة نحو 76 ألفا، لكنه وللأسف الشديد فإن الإحصائات تشير إلى أن عدد الكتب المستعارة في الفصل السابق نحو 57 ألفا فقط’’.
واعتبر الطالبي أن ‘’هذا العدد قليل جداً، فهناك ارتفاع في عدد الطلبة، من دون أن يوازيه ارتفاع في عدد الكتب المستعارة’’، مضيفا أن ‘’الارتفاع الحالي، لا يؤشر على القراءة والمطالعة، بل نريد زيادة عدد الكتب المستعارة أكثر وأكثر’’.
8 آلاف دورية الكترونية.. و170 ألف كتاب
وبخصوص الخدمات التي تقدمها مكتبات جامعة البحرين، قال الطالبي ‘’لدينا شعبة الإرشاد المكتبي، وتضم 5 أختصاصيين معلومات، كل منهم مسؤول عن كلية، ويتولون التنسيق مع الكليات والمشاركة في اجتماعات الأقسام الأكاديمية، والتعرف على احتياجات الأقسام من الكتب والدوريات والمصادر’’.
وأضاف ‘’كذلك يقومون بالتنسيق مع أعضاء الهيئة الأكاديمية لتنظيم الدورات في كيفية استخدام المصادر المطبوعة والإلكترونية’’.
وأوضح الطالبي ‘’لدينا 8 آلاف دورية الكترونية متاحة مباشرة من المكتبة الإلكترونية، و170 ألف كتاب ومرجع، بجانب عدد من الكتب الإلكترونية والموسوعات’’، مضيفا ‘’هناك كذلك قواعد معلومات باللغة الإنجليزية تحتوي على نحو 8 آلاف دورية الكترونية تشمل جميع المجالات، فضلا عن قاعدة الجامع الكبير وفيها 1750 كتابا’’.
وفيما رأى الطالبي أن ‘’لمنظومة التربية والتعليم دوراً بارزا في تشكيل ميول القراءة’’، أوضح أن ‘’هذه المشكلة أفرزتها المراحل الدراسية السابقة ابتداء من المرحلة الابتدائية وصولا إلى المرحلة الجامعية’’. وانتقد الطالبي ‘’الأسلوب التقليدي للتدريس والذي لايزال قائما على رغم محاولات التغيير، حيث أنه يقوم على الاتصال في اتجاه واحد من المعلم إلى الطالب من دون تفاعل حيوي بين الطرفين يشجع الطالب على البحث والمعرفة’’.
وأشار الطالبي إلى ‘’دور الأسرة في خلق تقاليد المطالعة لدى الطفل بجعله يعتاد التعامل مع الكتاب منذ نعومة أظافره’’، مطالبا ‘’توافر المكتبات العامة والمدرسية وتجهيزها بأحدث وسائل البحث ليندرج ذلك كله تحت خطة موحدة للوصول إلى مجتمع قارئ في عصر الانفجار المعرفي’’.
كما دعا الطالبي إلى ‘’تنظيم الندوات وبرامج التوعية بأهمية المطالعة من خلال إقامة المعارض واستضافة بعض الكتاب، فضلا عن تنظيم المكتبات العامة بعض المسابقات للشباب في فترات الصيف’’.
العزوف عن القراءة.. أسباب متعددة
من جهته، أشار رئيس شعبة الخدمات المكتبية بمقر الجامعة بالصخير ناصر محمد علي إلى أن ‘’هناك مجموعة من الطلبة يتجهون إلى المكتبة لإعداد بحوثهم والبحث عن الكتب التي تتعلق بمقررات دراستهم’’، معتبرا أن ‘’هؤلاء هم الأكثرية ويقعون ضمن كليات معينة وهي التربية والآداب’’.
وتابع ‘’هناك قسم آخر يتجه إلى المكتبة كمكان للراحة بما فيها من طاولات وقاعات دراسية، والبعض الآخر يأتينا للحصول على إجابة معينة من قسم المراجع’’.
واعترف علي أنه ‘’حدث فعلاً ابتعاد عن القراءة والمطالعة، والدليل على ذلك أن الإقبال على المكتبة من أجل الإطلاع والثقافة ليس بذاك العدد الكبير’’، مستدلا على ذلك أن ‘’صندوق مقترحات الطلبة من الكتب يحتوي شهرياً على اقتراح واحد فقط، إن وجد’’.
ورأى علي أن ‘’عزوف الطالب عن القراءة والمطالعة قد يعود إلى الضغط الدراسي وارتباطه بالمحاضرات التي تأخذ جل وقته داخل الجامعة، لكن هذا لا يمنعه من استعارة الكتاب لقراءتها’’.
وأوضح أن ‘’هناك عدد من الطلبة قد يتخرج من دون أن يمر على المكتبة، إلا في اليوم الأخير قبل تخرجه لإخلاء طرف، على رغم أن من أهداف الجامعة تخريج طالب أكاديمي مثقف’’، حسب تعبيره.
واعتبر علي أن ‘’صنع مجتمع طلابي يقرأ مرتبط بالمراحل الدراسية السابقة’’، منتقدا في ذلك ‘’استخدام نظام التلقين في مدارسنا الحكومية على رغم تواجد مركز مصادر التعلم في كل مدرسة’’.
ونصح علي الطلبة ‘’الاستفادة القصوى من الخدمات الموجودة بالمكتبة، واستخدام المكتبة للإطلاع والثقافة وليس من أجل البحث العلمي فقط’’.
وفي سياق متصل. رأى أحد المتخصصين في علوم المكتبات أن ‘’الطالب في فترة الستينات كان أكثر اطلاعاً، يقرأ مئات الكتب ويذهب إلى المكتبات العامة على رغم بعد المسافة’’.
وتابع ‘’أما الطالب في الوقت الحالي، فقراءته سطحية من خلال الصحيفة أو المجلة أو الإنترنت الذي لا يمكنه كوسيلة للقراءة أن يضيف أشياء دسمة، وقد تؤثر وسائل الإعلام على مطالعات الطالب، في وقت أصبح الناس يتكلمون أكثر مما يقرأون’’.
وأرجع عزوف الطالب عن القراءة إلى ‘’تغير ظروف المجتمع وعدم الوثوق بالمثقفين باعتبار ما يقولونه أو يكتبونه هراء، فضلا عن اهتمام الناس بما يدور حولنا من حروب دولية أو طائفية أكثر من اهتمامهم بالقراءة’’.
ورأى أن ‘’صنع مجتمع طلابي قارئ أمر صعب جداً، ويتدخل فيه موضوعان رئيسان، هما أن يكون في الإعلام توجه ثقافي، وأن تحث المناهج الدراسية الطالب على المطالعة من خلال تخصيص حصص للثقافة’’.
مجتمعنا المعاصر يعيش أجواء مضادة للثقافة
وفي سياق متصل، أوضح أستاذ اللغة العربية بكلية الآداب منذر عياش أن ‘’ثقافة الطالب ليست فقط ثقافة القراءة، بل ثقافة المجتمع الذي يعيش فيه’’، مضيفا أن ‘’المجتمع يقدم لأبنائه الطلاب وغير الطلاب ثقافة تعينهم في اقتناص المعرفة وامتلاكها، كما تعينهم في فتح أبواب العلم’’.
وأعرب عياش عن أسفه أن ‘’مجتمعنا العربي المعاصر يعيش الآن أجواء مضادة للثقافة، لأنه في حالة من التفكك الاجتماعي التي تنذر بأحداث خطيرة تعكس حالة من التفكك الثقافي’’، مشيرا إلى ‘’تأثير ذلك على أبناء المجتمع والطالب الذي يأتي إلى الجامعة خصوصاً، وهو يعاني من انهدام في صرحه الاجتماعي والثقافي’’.
وتابع ‘’صار الطالب في أحسن أحواله قناص معلومة ويتصيد الأفكار تصيداً على شكل مختزلات وملخصات، ويريد أن يأخذها بأي ثمن لكي يتجاوز بها الامتحان والحصول على الوظيفة’’، حسب تعبيره.
ورأى عياش أن ‘’الحل يبدأ خارج الجامعة، وليس ضمن أسوارها، فإذا لم يكن الطالب مثقفاً قبل مجيئه إلى الجامعة، حتماً ستواجه المؤسسة الجامعية مشكلات في إنارة طريق العلم لهذا الطالب’’.
واقترح عياش ‘’العمل على حل المشكلة اجتماعياً، فالثقافة هي المجتمع، وعلى المجتمع أن يبني نفسه ثقافياً لكي يساعد الجامعة على بنائه معرفياً’’.

(2) RFID تقنية الـ

هي طريقة لتخزين المعلومات عن أي منتج واسترجاعها من بعد. وتتم العملية بواسطة إلصاق جسم أو ملصق صغير على المنتج، يحتوي هذا الملصق على “هوائي” استشعار يمكنه من استقبال وإرسال موجات راديو “المعلومات” من وإلى جهاز الإرسال والاستقبال.

هناك ملصقات RFID
فاعلة تحتوي على بطارية وهناك نوع آخر لا يحتوي على أي بطاريات إلا أنه يعمل بمجرد مرور التيار/الموجات في الهوائي. النوع الثاني من الملصقات (التي تعمل بدون بطاريات) تستطيع أن ترسل وتستقبل الموجات في مدى من 10 ملم إلى أكثر من 6 أمتار من جهاز الإرسال والاستقبال. أما الملصقات الفاعلة (التي تعمل على بطاريات)، فيمكنها العمل لسنوات بدو الحاجة لإعادة شحنها كما أنها تستطيع تخزين معلومات أكثر. ويمكنها أيضا أن ترسل وتستقبل المعلومات من على بعد أكثر من الملصقات الغير فاعلة.


تطبيقات الـ RFID
ستُستبدل تقنية الخطوط (أو Barcode) المعروفة بواسطة هذه التقنية الواعدة. وتطبيقات هذه التقنية متعددة، فستمكننا بسهولة من إحصاء وجرد المستودعات، وستمكننا من معرفة مكان أي كتاب في المكتبات العامة، وستمكننا من معرفة مصدر أي منتج في المصنع.

وعندما يكون مركز التسوق جاهز ومعداَ، فلا حاجة للانتظار على أمين الصندوق ليحصي مشترياتك، بل إن أمين الصندوق سيستخدم جهاز الإرسال والاستقبال ليرسل الموجات إلى عربة تسوقك، ويتلقى كافة المعلومات في أقل من ثوان.
وهذه الملصقات تستطيع تخزين معلومات كثيرة، وتستطيع أن تعطي معلومات أكثر مثل أن ترسل رسالة إنذار عندما تكون درجة الحرارة أقل أو أكثر من درة الحرارة المطلوبة. هذه التقنية تستخدم حالياً في مراقبة الحيوانات والطيور في الدراسة الحيوية. ويمكن أن تستخدم في مراقبة وتعريف المرضى في المستشفيات.

ولأن هذه التقنية غالية الثمن في الوقت الحالي، حيث يكلف الملصق 20 سنتا، قد لا تكون متاحة في للاستخدام في كل المنتجات. لكن التقنية تعدنا بأن تكلفة ملصقات RFID سوف تنخفض للدرجة التي يسعنا استخدامها حتى على علبة البيبسي كولا.

بقي أن نشير إلى أن RFID هي اختصار كلمة Radio Frequency IDentification

لا نعتقد أن هناك الكثير ما يقال عن هذه التقنية بـ “العربي”.

ما هو ؟
web 2.0 يعرف البعض ال
بأنه نسخة جديدة من الويب تقوم على تحويل الانترنت إلى منصة عمل بدلاً من كونها مواقع فقط .. بمعنى آخر تكون التطبيقات تعمل من خلال المواقع بدلاً من أن تعمل عليها من جهازك الشخصي .. لن تحتاج ربما لتثبيت أي برنامج على جهازك في المستقبل القريب ..
وهذه الفكرة مطبقة حالياً في بعض المواقع البرمجية باستخدام الجافا java web start بحيث يمكنك العمل على البرنامج داخل متصفح الانترنت وكأنك تعمل على جهازك.
- البعض الآخر يرى بأن الـ web 2.0 هو ظاهرة التحول في نشر محتويات المواقع من الطريقة التقليدية التي تعتمد على التحديث من صاحب الموقع إلى طريقة التعديل المفتوح لمحتويات المواقع وسهولة التفاعل مع زوار الموقع, وحرية تعديل المحتوى وظهور رخص المحتوى ومكتبات الانترنت البرمجية المفتوحة وغيرها. وهذا ما هو واضح حالياً في: الويكي - المدونات - Creative Commons - Google APIs وغيرها , بمعنى آخر يصبح الانترنت اجتماعي أكثر ومجال التعاون فيه أكبر.

الجواب هو أن يضم عدداً من الخصائص التالية:
1 يستخدم الـ CSS و XHTML بشكل صحيح.
2 يحتوي على تقنيات تسهل التصفح للزوار مثل Ajax.
+ يستخدم تطبيقاتJava Web Start ( تقنية تسمح لك بتشغيل برامج على الانترنت وكأنك قد ثبت البرنامج على جهازك).
3 يستخدم تقنيات تحسين واجهة المستخدم مثل Flex/Laszlo/Flash.
4 يستخدم XUL.
5 يستخدم RSS/Atom.
6 اسم الموقع له معنى واضح.
7 يحوي مدونة أو Weblog.
8 يستخدم أو يوفر XML Webservices APIs.
9 يُظهر بعض أوجه التقارب الاجتماعي ( القصد هنا بأن يوفر مثلاً روابط لمواقع صديقة, وتمكن الزوار من تعديل المحتويات والمشاركة في تحريرها , …)

XUL تقنية

User Interface Language (XUL)
تنطق كلمة XUL هكذا: زول، وهي تقنية تعتمد على لغة XML لوصف ورسم عناصر واجهة متصفح موزيلا ومتصفح فايرفوكس، وبالتأكيد يمكن استخدامها لإنشاء واجهات برامج أخرى، فهناك برنامج Mozilla Amazon Browser الذي يقدم واجهة لتصفح محتويات موقع أمازون، وبرنامج Thunderbird يعتمد أيضاً على هذه التقنية لإنشاء واجهته، وهناك الكثير من البرامج الأخرى التي تعتمد هذه التقنية.

من أهم فوائد هذه التقنية أنها تقلل الوقت والجهد اللازمين لإنشاء واجهات البرامج، فيكفي أن تعرف كيف تتعامل مع XML وجافاسكربت وCSS لكي تقوم بإنشاء واجهة برنامج، بمعنى آخر يمكن لمطوري المواقع أن يقوموا بإنشاء مثل هذه الواجهات، على عكس لغات البرمجة الأخرى التي تتطلب معرفة كبيرة، وحسب مقالة The Joy of XUL هناك فوائد أخرى كثيرة، فيمكن لمطور البرنامج تشغيل برنامجه على أكثر من نظام تشغيل، وهذا ما يحدث فعلاً مع متصفح فايرفوكس الذي يعمل على الكثير من أنظمة التشغيل، ومن فوائد هذه التقنية أنها تبسط عملية ترجمة الواجهة إلى أي لغة أو تعديلها لتناسب احتياجات أي مؤسسة.

eXtensible Application Markup Language (XAML)
تنطق كلمة XAML هكذا: زامل، وهي تقنية من مايكروسوفت لنظام تشغيلها القادم Longhorn، وهي تقوم بنفس وظيفة XUL إلا أنها مختلفة في تفاصيلها التقنية، وحقيقة لم أجد موقعاً أو مقالة تشرح الاختلافات بين XUL وXAML بشكل مبسط، على أي حال تقنية NET من مايكروسوفت ستعتمد في المستقبل على XAML وبالتالي سيقوم المبرمج بإنشاء ملف XML لوصف ورسم واجهة البرنامج، وهذه التقنية لم تعتمد على CSS وستعمل فقط في نظام مايكروسوفت وحتى الآن لا توجد تطبيقات لها حسب علمي.

تقنيات أخرى
بعد البحث تبين لي أن هناك عشرات التقنيات الأخرى المماثلة لتقنية XUL وXAML وكلها تستخدم لنفس الغرض: رسم ووصف واجهات البرامج، وما يميز كل تقنية هي بعض التفاصيل التقنية الدقيقة، فمثلاً أبل لديها تقنية Dashboard التي سنراها في نظام تشغيلها القادم Tiger، وأعتقد أن تقنية أبل هي الأقرب إلى المعايير القياسية لأنها تعتمد كلياً على محرك متصفحها سفاري، وشركة مايكروميديا لديها تقنية Flex التي تستخدم تقنية فلاش.

كل هذه التقنيات تريد أن تذهب بنا إلى المرحلة الثالثة من التطبيقات، في البداية كانت البرامج عبارة عن نصوص فقط، ثم ظهرت الواجهات الرسومية والشبكات وازداد استخدام الحاسوب بين الناس، الآن المرحلة الثالثة هي تطبيقات الويب، أي أن صفحات المواقع نفسها ستكون برامج وليس مجرد صفحات، والتنافس الكبير الآن بين الشركات يهدف إلى السيطرة على هذا السوق في المستقبل، ومن مصلحتنا ألا تحتكر شركة واحدة هذا السوق فيكفينا احتكار مايكروسوفت الآن، أعتقد أن دعم المعايير القياسية لتطوير المواقع وبرامج الإنترنت سيجبر الشركات على اتباع هذه المعايير، لكن طريق المعايير القياسية طويل ويحتاج إلى صبر جميل.

معوقات النشر الإلكتروني العربي‏‏

يعتبر النشر الإليكتروني من اهم التقنيات المعاصرة التي تسهم في تعميم المعرفة وايصالها الي اي مكان في العالم‏,

‏ وقد فرضت الصحافة الإليكترونية نفسها علي الساحة الإعلامية كمنافس قوي للصحافة الورقية‏,‏ بالإضافة الي ظهور الأجيال الجديدة التي لا تقبل علي الصحف المطبوعة‏.

‏ومن أهم مميزات الصحافة الإليكترونية نقلها للنص والصورة معا لتوصيل رسالة متعددة الأشكال والاحتفاظ بالزائر اكبر قدر ممكن حتي لا تتحول الجريدة الإليكترونية إلي نسخة إليكترونية من الصحف التقليدية‏,‏

كما ان هناك مميزات للقارئ الالكتروني منها السرعة في معرفة الأخبار ورصدها لحظة بلحظة علي العكس من الصحف التقليدية التي تقوم بالرصد والتحليل للموضوعيات كما يتيح النشر الإليكتروني التفاعل مع المادة المنشورة سواء عبر إرسال تعليق إلي الناشر أو الكاتب عبر البريد الإليكتروني أو عبر أدراج تعليق‏/‏ قراءة‏/‏ نقد‏/‏ تصويب في مكان النشر ذاته كما تتيح للكاتب إن يري ردود الأفعال التي تحدثها كتابته الخ‏.‏والصحافة الإليكترونية مكملة لدور الصحافة الورقية والمطبوعة وليس هناك صراع بينهما الا أن التمويل أصبح الآن من آليات نجاح تلك الصحف في شكلها الحديث والذي ينعكس بالتالي علي شكل وأداء الموقع من حيث تنوع اخباره وتحديثها بين الحين والآخر اذ أن ثقافة الانترنت اصبح لها جماهيرها وشعبيتها وهي بازدياد علي العكس من قراء الصحف والكتب‏.‏والصحافة الإليكترونية التي تشهد ميلاد مواقع كثيرة تواكبها زيادة في عدد زوارها‏,‏ تستفيد من الأزمات التي تمر بها الصحافة التقليدية ومن بينها الرقابة عليها ومنع بعض المواد الصحفية من النشر و الأزمات الاقتصادية التي يمر بها العالم العربي مما دفع الصحف التقليدية الي الاهتمام بمواقعها الالكترونية علي الانترنت وتحديثها بصفة دورية فالغالبية من الصحف أصبحت تتجه إلي الانترنت والإعلام الفضائي في ظل نزيف الخسائر الحالي‏,

‏ الا ان الصحافة الإليكترونية لن تحل محل الصحافة الورقية مهما طال الزمن خاصة في عالمنا العربي‏.

‏فالنشر الإليكتروني العربي مازال بعيدا عن مجالات تطوير هذه التقنية التي يخشي من أن تجعل الثقافة العربية بعيدة عن التأثير والتأثر‏.‏ فرغم أن الوسيلتين لاغني عنهما في الوقت الحالي باعتبارهما وسيلة من وسائل التثقيف إلا أن هناك مجموعة من التحديات التي تواجه الصحافة الإليكترونية في العالم العربي من بينها تواضع نسبة عدد مستخدمي الإنترنت العرب قياسا إلي العدد الإجمالي للسكان في الوطن العربي‏,‏ بالاضافة لوجود ضعف في البنية الأساسية لشبكات الاتصالات إضافة إلي بعض العوائق الاجتماعية والثقافية والاقتصادية‏,‏ ما أدي إلي تأخير في الاستفادة من خدمات شبكة الإنترنت‏,‏ أثرت بشكل رئيسي علي سوق الصحافة الالكترونية‏.‏علاوة علي غياب آليات التمويل في مختلف صورها سواء كان تمويلا ذاتيا أو بصورة إعلانات حيث أن هناك حالة من انعدام الثقة بين المعلن العربي والانترنت بصفة عامة‏.‏بالإضافة الي ان نقص المحتوي العربي علي شبكة الانترنت يقف وراء عدم انتشار الصحافة الالكترونية بصورتها الواضحة كماهي الحال في الغرب‏,‏ بالاضافة الي انه لا يزال عدد الصحف العربية المطبوعة علي ورق يفوق بكثير عدد تلك المتوافرة الكترونيا علي الانترنت وعلي أقراص مدمجة‏.‏المشكلة الأخري ـ والمطروحة بكثرة ـ في عالم النشر الاكتروني تتمثل في مفهوم حقوق النشر والملكية الفكرية فقد أصبح هذا المفهوم من أكثر المواضيع غموضا وإبهاما في حقبة النشر الالكتروني‏.‏ فقبل ظهور الإنترنت‏,‏ كان من الصعب فصل الملكية الفكرية للنص عن الوسط الذي يحتويه‏,‏ حيث اتخذ سابقا كل من النص والفكرة شكلا طباعيا يحفظ حقوق نشره‏,‏ وكانت القوانين المطبقة بهذا الخصوص واضحة نسبيا‏.‏ لكن الكثير تغير منذ ذلك الوقت‏,‏ حيث تستطيع أي فكرة الآن التعبير عن نفسها في وسائط متعددة ومختلفة في آن واحد‏,‏ وتبقي الأجوبة علي أسئلة من نوع‏:'‏ من يملك ذلك أو ذاك؟ أو لمن تعود الأسبقية وهل يمكننا التحدث الآن عن شيء مملوك أصلا ؟‏'‏ مثيرة لحوارات ساخنة ولم تعد المعايير بهذا الوضوح السابق‏.‏ولكن الأكيد أننا عندما نبحث عن أجوبة لأسئلة كهذه تتعلق بحقوق النشر‏,‏ يجب أن نأخذ في الاعتبار عالمية النشر الإليكتروني والتغييرات العميقة التي أحدثها هذا النشر في المفاهيم السائدة‏.‏ وحتي تتضح الصورة أكثر يجب علينا انتظار الزمن ليقوم بماعليه في صقل وبلورة مفاهيم وقوانين جديدة تتناسب مع متطلبات العصر التكنولوجي الحالي‏.‏
